GEOFFREY SWEET
With a Ph.D. in German and mathematics, Geoffrey now focuses on science and technology. British-born, he has previously taught German studies at the University of Oxford, lectured in electronics at Southampton University, and has more than 15 years professional experience as a translator. While working in the field of micro-electronics, Geoffrey specialized in real-time signal analysis, and in 2002 he was appointed to the "String of Pearls" international trade delegation set up by Britain’s Department of Trade and Industry.
JONATHAN SPINK
Jonathan studied modern languages at the University of Oxford before setting out on a career in the financial sector. As a former investment banker with 14 years of professional experience at financial institutions including Deutsche Bank and UBS, he is an acknowledged expert in financial services communication.
DIANA POLKINGHORNE
Diana contributes 20 years of experience as a translator and (English) language trainer. As the former head of language services at a prominent German bank and lecturer in British studies at the University of Regensburg, she is a gifted communicator with a talent for cultural diversity and an intuitive grasp of multinational business relationships.
HANS-PETER BRANDAU
With a consistent focus on business and commerce, Hans-Peter can nevertheless look back on a varied career that includes experience in middle and senior management. He has been working as a full-time professional translator for over 20 years and his expertise embraces a wide variety of sectors. He focuses mainly on business, law, communication and technology, but is always open to new challenges.
MARIA BRANDAU
Just like her husband, it is the creative use of language that gives Maria the greatest satisfaction in her work as a translator. After taking a degree in languages and acquiring extensive professional experience in banking and other sectors, for more than 10 years now she has been a full-time translator specializing in finance, business, law and communication.
