To mark the 125th anniversary of this European family of dealers in fine art, Bernheimer commissioned us to translate a sophisticated exhibition catalog. Baker & Harrison was pleased to accept the challenge.
Konrad O. Bernheimer represents the fourth generation of one of Europe’s leading families of art dealers. Founded in 1864, “Bernheimer Fine Old Masters“ celebrated its 125th anniversary with an exhibition of 125 of the finest works or past eras.
The opulent catalog entitled “Art & Tradition – Masterpieces of Important Provenences“ also documented the turbulent history of the business. The translation demanded a meticulous approach, supported by an in-depth knowledge and feeling for the content.
