NON-FICTION LITERARY TRANSLATION

We were privileged to translate two books into English for London-based Haus Publishing, both dedicated to current topical issues.

Sustainability, climate change, intelligent concepts of technology-friendly evolution – these are issues of deep significance for our times. Baker & Harrison had the honor to translate “Wie muss die Wirtschaft umgebaut werden? – Perspektiven einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung“ by Bernd Meyer and Klaus Wiegandt and “Wie bedroht sind die Ozeane? –  Biologische und physikalische Aspekte“ by Stefan Rahmstorf and Katherine Richardson.

“Costing the Earth“ and “Our Threatened Oceans“, as these works are now entitled in English, were published in 2009 by the prominent London company Haus Publishing as part of the series “The Sustainability Project“.  The volume and intensity of the work was time well spent on a truly exciting and important topic.
