EXHIBITION COMMUNICATIONS
The Science Tunnel interactive multimedia exhibition by the Max Planck Society has been enthralling visitors around the world.
How do you convert seemingly dry-as-dust research into an experience that stirs the human mind? Germany’s most important research organization, the Max Planck Society, has found a convincing answer in the shape of the Science Tunnel. The exhibition invites visitors on a journey through the mysteries of our world – the expedition progresses from pioneering discoveries to current events and insights into modern leading-edge research.
The Science Tunnel debuted at EXPO 2000 in Hanover and has since made successful guest appearances in Beijing, Shanghai, Manchester, Hong Kong, Thessaloniki, Ludwigshafen, Hasselt and Tokyo. In October 2009 the exhibition, which has so far attracted over 2 million visitors, opened at the University of Valparìso in Chile.
Baker & Harrison have provided numerous translations for the Science Tunnel, including the descriptions of the exhibits. Among many other projects, for the past 8 years we have also been translating the Max Planck Society’s science magazine “MaxPlanckResearch“.
